Creating logos have become one of my specialised interests in graphic design. From minimalist designs to bold use of colour, logos contain the capacity to convey a communicative message that is effective and displays a company’s/brand’s values.
The design brief aimed to create a logo design for a brand of your choosing. Ranging from residential companies, museums, music festivals, and so forth, I opted to create a logo for an original residential property management.
The process of logo design initially was quite difficult, at first attempting to figure out the basics of Adobe Illustrator to eventually incorporating shapes, the selection of typography, composition as well as the colour palette to assist in the conveyance of my made-up brand.
After the logo making process, I begun to commit myself to specialising in this background as there are constantly people looking for logos. Being able to enjoy what I am doing, this experience has opened up exciting new opportunities to work within the creative field.
I continue to seek out more logo related jobs, as my background in marketing and advertising works hand-in-hand with creating a visual identity for brands and companies.
